Do It Afraid!

NO FEAR! Who was it said, « feel the fear, do it anyway! » ?

One of our greatest fears is of not being or loved.

As artists we are constantly exposing our ‘self’ to the world through our art.

Sometimes our work is accepted and understood but at times, it isn’t.

And yet, we must create from a place of integrity, being true to our self and put aside fear.

Be a reflection of our true self.

Feeling fear isn’t the issue, it’s what we do with it that matters

As I listened to music early this morning in the studio and began to create, this piece No Fear emerged.

I wasn’t thinking about how it had to look or whether it would be accepted.

From that meditative place, I just created.

I chose to let it be what it was, nothing more nothing less.....

There is a certain joy in that.

So today, punch 🤜 fear in the face!
